Name: Mike David
Mike David started his career in New York City at Citicorp in buyouts and mezzanine investments. He gained private equity investing experience with Quad-C Management and CapitalWorks, middle market firms based in Charlottesville, VA, and Cleveland, OH, respectively. He also worked for DAVCO Corporation, a family office.
In 2005, Mr. David formed Endurance Capital Advisors, LLC, a hedge fund that invested in public small-cap companies until 2013. He also was a partner with Partners Private Equity, an entity that purchased LTS Metrology, a scale and weighing systems distributor, where Mr. David gained operating experience by serving as President and CFO from 2015 to 2019.
In 2020, Mr. David joined ScaleCo as Partner to employ his private equity, fund management, investor reporting, and operating company expertise. He develops and documents processes in the portfolio companies, and focuses on integration of IT systems, improving accounting/reporting processes, and solving operational needs. He has implemented new enterprise resource planning and CRM systems, managed HR, reformulated pricing policies and sales targets, and realigned operations.
Mr. David and Mr. Anderson have known each other for more than 20 years, working on multiple transactions together. In 2000, Mr. David and Mr. Anderson joined forces on a transaction that ultimately did not fund, and in 2015, Mr. David co-led ECP Fund II’s acquisition of Heavy Equipment Colleges. Mr. David currently serves on the IC of ScaleCo.
Mr. David holds a BBA in Finance, Business Management, and Logistics from Kent State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
