ScaleCo Capital is excited to announce Kevin Moyer as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Safety Controls Technology (“SCT”). Earlier this summer, ScaleCo and SCT decided to engage Sax LLP, to support the finance and accounting department at SCT.  This partnership with Sax, and subsequently with Kevin Moyer, has proven instrumental in assessing alignment with the company’s culture and objectives, thereby serving SCT’s long-term vision.

In his role at SCT, Kevin will assume responsibility for strategic planning, oversight of mergers and acquisitions efforts, and the management of operational and back-office functions. Kevin’s background includes his tenure at Sax LLP, a top 75 public accounting firm. Kevin joined Sax in 2022 as Partner and Leader of the firm’s Transaction Strategy & Transformation practice. In this role, Kevin was selected for the 2023 M&A Advisor Emerging Leader award and the “People to watch in Finance” by NJBIZ.

Before joining SAX, Kevin worked with EY-Parthenon (“EYP”), one of the top 5 global strategy consulting firms. During his time at EYP, he specialized in executing Sell & Separate mandates. These mandates involved conducting operational and financial diligence for carveouts, spins, and divestitures for leading private equity firms and Fortune 100 companies.

Kevin also served as the CFO of a private equity backed manufacturer during a large-scale turnaround and restructuring effort. His contributions led to the receipt of both the Small Market Turnaround of the Year award from the Global M&A Network and the Restructuring Community Impact award from the M&A Advisor.

Prior to this, Kevin held the position of Director of M&A Strategy at Simon Group Holdings. This family office managed a series of private equity funds.
