We are pleased to announce that Andrew Newsome has been named as Vice President at ScaleCo.

In his role as Vice President, Mr. Newsome is primarily responsible for managing the pipeline of ScaleCo Operating Partners. This development includes search fund investors, middle market PE firms, and independent sponsors. He will oversee developments to the Scale Community.

Andrew Newsome began his career as a Business Analyst at ZS Associates in the Greater Chicago Area where he gathered market research, developed go-to-market strategies, and implemented best practices for clients. After moving to Cleveland in 2018, Mr. Newsome joined Flynn Restaurant Group as Chief of Staff. In his role, he was responsible for overseeing strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution. In 2020, Mr. Newsome transitioned to a role as a Strategy and Operations Manager at McMaster-Carr, an international distributor of industrial supplies. Mr. Newsome is an experienced management professional with a demonstrated history in growing and scaling businesses.

Mr. Newsome was selected for the Crain’s Cleveland Business ‘20 In Their Twenties’ List in June 2020. He also Co-Founded 4Brothers4Empowerment in 2016, a Nashville based scholarship program which gives away 5 annual scholarships to black male high school seniors in Nashville public schools.
