Dragan Savic Named Vice-President of Staff Augmentation at Safety Controls Technology
ScaleCo Capital is excited to announce the addition of Dragan Savic to the team at Safety Control Technology (“SCT” or “the Company”) as Vice-President of Staff Augmentation. Within SCT, Mr. Savic leads a team of Occupational Safety and Health Professionals.
In his position at SCT, Mr. Savic serves as a Project Manager overseeing all glass and steel furnace projects, and conducts industrial hygiene surveys essential for glass and steel demolition and rebuild initiatives.
Mr. Savic served the Company from 2004-2020, and will be re-joining the team in 2023. During his time at SCT, Mr. Savic has amassed an extensive wealth of experience in the intricate domains of glass and steel furnace operations, spanning 100+ projects over the past two decades. During his hiatus from SCT, Mr. Savic remained deeply engaged in the glass industry, holding positions as the Corporate Safety Director of Glenn Hunter & Associates and as the President of H Consulting Group. During these roles, he expanded his expertise to areas such as excavation, trenching, shoring, fall protection, fall arrest systems, scaffolding, lead abatement, mold remediation, indoor air quality, respiratory protection, as well as drug and alcohol testing. Mr. Savic has conducted over 2,000 safety audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and has developed site-specific safety plans for both the construction and general industry sectors.
Mr. Savic is a Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) awarded by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), a nationally recognized peer safety certification organization.
