ScaleCo Capital Announces Matt Sweet as Vice President

ScaleCo Capital (“ScaleCo”) is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Sweet to its growing team. In his role as Vice President, Matt will focus on investment sourcing, evaluation, and execution, working closely with management teams to identify compelling opportunities and build durable, long-term value for businesses, their employees, and investors alike.

Matt brings a wealth of experience to ScaleCo, having previously served as an investor at Align Capital Partners and Tecum Capital Partners. Throughout his career, he has executed leveraged buyouts, growth equity, and debt investments across the business services, specialty manufacturing, and distribution sectors. He began his career in investment banking at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company and MelCap Partners, developing a strong foundation in deal structuring and capital markets. Matt earned his B.S. in Finance from The Ohio State University.

With deep roots in Ohio, Matt is well-positioned to help ScaleCo identify unique investment opportunities across the Great Lakes region, companies with strong fundamentals and the potential to scale meaningfully. His efforts will also support the continued development and growth of ScaleCo’s existing portfolio, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to creating lasting value for business owners, their teams, and the communities they serve.
