Background:

In 2023, Dave Jacob joined the ScaleCo Capital team as Managing Partner and an active member of the firm’s Investment Committee. As Managing Partner, Dave concentrates on various investment, managerial, and strategic aspects across the firm. His responsibilities include leading the review and evaluation of new platform investments and add-on acquisitions, co-heading portfolio strategy, and co-leading fundraising.

Dave brings significant experience from his tenure at The Riverside Company, most recently serving as Vice President within the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund. In this role, he sourced, led, executed, and managed control-oriented investment opportunities in companies with up to $10 million of EBITDA across various sectors.  Previously, he held roles at Sheridan Capital Partners, a Chicago-based lower middle market private equity firm focused on consumer and healthcare, and in the Financial Sponsors Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Originally from Worthington, OH, Dave earned a BS in Finance from Miami University and an MBA with honors from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
