Meet ScaleCo’s Vice President - Matt Sweet
Matt joined ScaleCo in 2026. He is responsible for investment sourcing, evaluation, and execution while working alongside management teams to build durable value.
Prior to joining ScaleCo, Matt was an investor at Align Capital Partners and Tecum Capital Partners where he executed leveraged buyout, growth equity, and debt investments across the business services, specialty manufacturing, and distribution sectors. He started his career in investment banking at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) and MelCap Partners.
Matt grew up in the greater-Cleveland area and earned his BS in Finance from The Ohio State University.
